The Mid State Cow Horse Association (MSCHA) was created with the purpose to provide a fun, affordable and educational environment for reined cow horse activities and enthusiasts. Where the most seasoned of competitors, along with non-pro riders can school and show their horses in a premier facility located in the heart of the Central Coast. In the last 5 years, Mid State Cow Horse Association has grown from an ‘idea’ to an NRCHA Affiliate that has hosted clinics and shows to our core group of dedicated members as well as, to an expanding group of new riders at each event. The response to what we are building and providing to the cow horse community has been positive and encouraging. We want to continue providing a venue for the ever-increasing market of people entering cow horse, competing for fun, or working towards premier-level show competition, and we need your support!

Now in our 5th year as an NRCHA Affiliate, Mid State Cow Horse Association is expanding! New for 2024, all of our shows will be held at the beautiful Hearst Equestrian Center located in the Paso Robles Event Center in downtown Paso Robles. There will be plenty of RV spaces and stalls for overnighters wanting to spend the weekend in Paso.

Plus, we our offering BIGGER added money in ALL classes.

And, we'll be continuing with our 2nd Annual RONNIE RICHARDS MEMORIAL SHOW on March 15-16th! With increased added money, plus commemorative GIST buckles for first place winners in the Non Pro/Non Pro Boxing classes, this is a show you won't want to miss!
